New year…New look…New options for watching our films!

We have lots of great news to share for the New Year, starting with our biggest announcement:

We’ve gone digital!

You asked…we listened…and we finally figured out how to do it.

We are happy to announce that our films Alaska Far Away and Where the River Matanuska Flows are now available for streaming and/or download from our web site, in addition to being available on DVD. We are excited that our films will now be widely available to viewers everywhere. So please, spread the news to your family and friends!

And more great news: our new look

Our web site has a whole new look, thanks to our talented friend Valli Hilaire. We hope you like it as much as we do!

And yes, you may notice that the name of our web site has changed again, back it its original form, www.alaskafaraway.com. However, for the time being, feel free to use either www.alaskafaraway.com or www.alaskafarawaythemovie.com.

ALASKA FAR AWAY in the news

During the 2017 Alaska State Fair, Rhonda McBride of Anchorage news station KTVA interviewed us about Alaska Far Away and the history of the Matanuska Colony, as part of a feature story about the history of agriculture in the Matanuska Valley.
